The region
The chalets are located in the village of Niedernsill in the valley on a quiet road. They are located in Salzburgerland near the ski resorts Zell am See/Kaprun, Kitzbühel/Kirchberg and Austria's largest National Park Hohe Tauern. Our Canadian log cabins are not only near several ski resorts but also amid countless kilometres of beautiful hiking trails.
What is there to do?
From the chalets, you can enjoy hiking right from home in summer. There are endless hiking trails suitable for all levels and also suitable for dogs and children. In addition, the chalets are located next to the Hohe Tauern National Park which includes the Grossglockner, thousands of kilometres of hiking trails from the valley to above 3000 metres over the glaciers.
In winter, you can ski/snowboard with us from 750 to over 3000 metres on over 300 kilometres of slopes. (More on skiing possibilities can be found under the winter block). Travel time to the nearest ski resort is about 10 minutes. Near the lifts, you can always park nearby and for free. Cross-country skiers will also enjoy themselves: the chalets are located near the 230-kilometre-long Pinzga trail. Unfortunately, dogs are not welcome on the slopes or trails, but you can enjoy hiking on the winter hiking trails. Enjoy snowshoeing with or without DogWalkTrail through untouched forests and leisurely hiking on the many kilometres of prepared winter hiking trails.

Even if you want to be less active or just want to relax, there is plenty to enjoy in the Pinzgauer Land. Swim and laze by the lake in Zell am See or in the Tauernspa in Kaprun http://www.tauernspakaprun.com/de.
Soak up culture or enjoy shopping in the beautiful historic city of Salzburg, enjoy the view of the Krimmler Waterfall or take the gondola up the mountain with many eternally snow-covered 3000-ers as a panorama. Many dog-friendly restaurants (Austrian and international cuisine) and bars with lovely sunny terraces complete the holiday life.
Less than 5 minutes' drive away is the nearest supermarket with a very wide range of products. All other necessary facilities (bank, post office, doctor, etc.) are also a maximum 5-minute drive away.
